Rob Willoughby - Director & Licensee

Rob was a partner at the Stags Head between 2001-2006, helping to build up a vigorous hospitality trade from virtually nothing, given the pub's low ebb on arrival. In 2006, he bought out his business partners' interest to become the sole owner of the pub and has established a limited company.

Rob regards himself as a good host with especially high standards. He has fulfilled a long-held dream of owning his own pub, and with his knowledge and experience of the food and drinks industry he is determined to put the Stags Head at Maidwell back on the map of local hostelries where it rightfully belongs, and to develop the site to its former glory.

Rob is an avid follower of football and a life-long Nottingham Forest fan - long live Brian Clough!

Chris Warren - Head Chef

A devoted and loyal campaigner for the food industry, Chris has practised his culinary art in the local area for nearly 30 years. By using traditional methods and quality ingredients in his recipes he has always had a good following, and that following has just got bigger and bigger during his 5 years at the Stags Head.

A great family orientated man Chris, who with his team of Kevin Loye, Denise Carpenter, his daughter Cheran and Laura (at weekends) turns around a high volume of covers in a very compact kitchen, making the success so much sweeter.

Chris is a great asset to the business, and he will be developing the skills of all the current and future staff to maintain and continue the success he has built for the Stags Head.

Simon Nixon - Head Bar Man

More commonly known as 'The Captain'. A lively young man with great enthusiasm for his job. Likes collecting anything associated with the licensing trade, and he also collects tractors! (Never mind, Simon).
